We have a great opportunity to join us as a Tax Assistant Manager on a 3-4 day part-time basis. (We may also consider a full time opportunity for the right candidate).
Our Tax Assistant Manager will support the Group Tax team in all aspects of direct and indirect taxation, ensuring the correct, complete and timely delivery of all tax returns. Our successful candidate will have an enthusiasm to obtain a broad knowledge of all areas of tax and be keen and able to research tax topics independently for discussion with other members of the Tax team. You’ll work effectively with the wider business, to help develop and continually improve the Group’s tax reporting and control framework.

What you’ll be doing:
This is a mixed tax role where you’ll be responsible for the completion and submission of a wide variety of Direct and Indirect tax returns including; APD, VAT, Corporation tax, PSA and share option forms. You’ll also help prepare the tax accounting workings for inclusion in the Group annual statutory accounts and help forecast future tax liabilities.
What you’ll have:
We’re looking for a qualified tax professional with a passion not only for tax but also the Travel/Aviation industry:
- You’ll be qualified ideally CTA/ACA.
- You’ll have the ability to communicate complex tax matters in non-Finance terms to the wider business.
- You’ll have the ability to work collaboratively and constructively with senior colleagues within the Finance team and across the business.
- You'll have strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
